  1. You have a beautiful home! I agree with Sandy McNichols – I love how uncluttered the space is. I’m also a fan of a more pared back, modern look. I’ve had readers coax me to add more clutter but I like the things I have to “breathe” and not get lost in a sea of stuff. I’ll be following along to see more house updates!

  2. I love the fact that you use white for walls and ceilings. Do you use the same paint for both? And which paint colour (I’m Canadian) do you recommend most? Thanks and congratulations on beautiful and inspiring work.

  3. Your house looks awesome! Congrats on your home and new little one! I love the throw pillow on the bed in your guest room (now nursery – saw it on apartment therapy). Could you please tell me where you got the black and white print throw pillow on the bed in the former guest room? We are remodeling and it would be so perfect for our space.
    Thank you!

    • Thank you! It makes me feel good to hear people like it! As far as the ceiling lights. We drilled holes on the trim so that the wiring for the lights could be pulled through and then just mounted the lights just like you would on a normal ceiling. The only thing different you really have to do is drill the holes in the trim before you put it up.

  4. I LOVE the breadboard to cover up “popcorn” ceilings!! We have 8′ ceilings and I was afraid it would look to busy, but you have now inspired me….thank you!

  6. please tell me where you got the beautiful art piece in the nursery/guest bedroom? I would love to make something similar (budget art) with maybe lovely wall paper on canvas. This piece is amazing!
